1. Eligibility Criteria
1.1. **Academic Requirements**
– Applicants must have completed an equivalent secondary education or higher with the required academic standards for the chosen course.

1.2. **English Language Proficiency**
– Proof of English proficiency is mandatory. Acceptable tests and minimum scores include:
– IELTS: Overall band score of 6.0 (no individual band less than 5.5)
– TOEFL iBT: Minimum score of 70
– PTE Academic: Minimum score of 50

2. Application Process
2.1. **Application Form**
– Complete and submit the official Kentford College application form.

2.2. **Required Documents**
– Certified copies of academic transcripts and certificates.
– Proof of English language proficiency.
– Copy of a valid passport.
– Any additional documents specified in the course requirements.

2.3. **Application Fee**
– A non-refundable application fee must be paid at the time of submission.

3. Acceptance and Offer Letter
3.1. **Letter of Offer**
– Successful applicants will receive a Letter of Offer detailing the course, fees, and other relevant information.

3.2. **Acceptance**
– Accept the offer by signing the acceptance form and returning it to the admissions office along with the initial tuition fee deposit.

4. Tuition Fees
4.1. **Fee Payment**
– Initial deposit and subsequent tuition fees must be paid according to the schedule outlined in the Letter of Offer.

4.2. **Refund Policy**
– Refunds are subject to the college’s refund policy, available on our website and in the student handbook.

5. Student Visa
5.1. **Visa Requirements**
– Students must obtain a student visa (Subclass 500) to study in Australia.

5.2. **Visa Conditions**
– Maintain valid enrollment, satisfactory attendance, and academic progress as required by the visa conditions.

6. Health Insurance
6.1. **Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC)**
– Students must purchase and maintain OSHC for the entire duration of their stay in Australia.
7. Code of Conduct
7.1. **Student Responsibilities**
– Adherence to the college’s code of conduct, including academic integrity, respectful behavior, and compliance with college policies.

8. Accommodation and Living Expenses
8.1. **Accommodation**
– Students are responsible for arranging their own accommodation.

8.2. **Living Expenses**
– Students should budget for living expenses, including housing, food, transportation, and other personal costs.

9. Course Requirements
9.1. **Attendance and Participation**
– Regular attendance and active participation in all classes, assignments, exams, and practical sessions are mandatory.

10. Deferral, Suspension, and Cancellation
10.1. **Deferral**
– Students may request a deferral of their course start date. Approval is subject to college policies.

10.2. **Suspension and Cancellation**
– The college reserves the right to suspend or cancel a student’s enrollment under certain conditions, such as breaches of code of conduct or visa requirements.
